Eyebrow tinting usually lasts about two to four weeks. The duration can vary based on your skin type, skincare habits, and sun exposure, so keep that in mind!

Laser hair removal has a bad rap. So many our clients that wax worry that laser hair removal is going to be painful. We are here to say that if you can wax, you can laser. The pain levels are different, but comparable or less than waxing. If this is a major concern for you and the number one reason that is getting in the way for you to try it, we recommend that you start with your underarm area. It is the best area to feel the laser, get an idea of what the process will be like and see what types of results you might get after one treatment.

A lot of our clients ask why they have to shave before a laser hair removal session. Because laser hair removal works by shooting energy at the targeted hair and follicle, we want to make sure that the majority of the energy is focused on the shaft of hair under the skin and the follicle for best results. We don’t want to waste the energy singeing the hair on top of the skin and reducing the amount of energy directed at the follicle. You can’t wax, thread, or sugar the area because we need the follicle to be in tact underneath the skin for the laser to actually damage with the energy. Since all those methods remove the hair from the root, your laser hair removal will not be effective.

Many clients report seeing visible improvements in skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results, hydration and radiance may last a week or even longer. Though you may achieve immediate results, one treatment every 4-6 weeks is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily and congested skin. At Shobha®, we recommend an ongoing series of HydraFacial treatments to maintain healthy skin.

We recommend refraining from injectables products like Botox™ and other fillers and prescription strength Retin-A a few days prior to receiving a HydraFacial. Tanning and use of self-tanning products should also be avoided for 72 hours before your treatment.

Neurotoxin injections are the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments to smooth out lines, with more than 6-7 million treatments administered each year. Botox® Cosmetic is a specific brand of neurotoxin protein derived from Clostridium botulinum, an organism found in the natural environment where it is largely inactive and non-toxic. Botox® is FDA-approved, is widely used in 98 countries and is a safe and effective treatment with more than 16 years of testing and studies behind it.

Botox® Cosmetic helps smooth out and treat fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and the area in between your brows or frown area by temporarily paralyzing the underlying muscles in the area that it is injected.

We wish we could say yes, but Botox® does not help reduce the appearance of wrinkles or lines due to sun damage or gravity.

It’s a simple procedure performed with our certified Nurse Practitioners and takes under 15 minutes. Botox® is a natural neurotoxin that is injected in small doses into the skin. It blocks the nerve signal to the muscle causing the underlying muscles to relax. The results are a smoother, more youthful look.

Side effects are typically minor and can include discomfort, swelling or bruising at the injection site, and/or a mild headache. Our highly trained team of certified Nurse Practitioners at Shobha® will go over all the potential side effects with you before your procedure, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

You will feel a small amount of discomfort when the needle pierces the skin and when the toxin is injected. This will last for only a few seconds.

Botox® is a safe treatment, approved for use in 98 countries and by the FDA. It has more than 16 years of testing and studies behind it.

While there is no studies or evidence to indicate that the neurotoxin is passed from mother to baby, Shobha® does not give Botox® injections to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
